Our experts within the Women's Health Hub understand the challenges of heavy menstrual bleeding. If you have been assessed by a clinician at your own GP Practice and have been deemed suitable, a hormonal coil may be a highly effective solution to help to resolve your symptoms and ensure you can enjoy life without the burden of excessive bleeding.

You will receive a telephone triage call and if deemed suitable a face to face appointment will be arranged. Coil fittings are currently offered at Peter House Surgery, Captain Lees Road, Westhoughton, Bolton, BL5 3UB.

There has not been an extension to the licensed duration of use when being used for the management of heavy menstrual bleeding, or got endometrial protection as part of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
